From Locarno to Corippo

Your Ryker tour begins in Locarno and takes you via Gordola into the Verzasca Valley. The ride along Lake Vogorno already offers impressive views. A detour takes you to Corippo, where narrow lanes and closely packed stone houses give the small village its distinctive character. Get off the Ryker for a moment and explore the village on foot.

Lavertezzo and the Ponte dei Salti

Further up the valley, you will reach Lavertezzo. Here, the stone double-arch bridge Ponte dei Salti crosses the Verzasca River. The crystal-clear, emerald-green water and the rocks along the river make this one of the most iconic photo spots in Ticino. Allow enough time for a walk and a relaxing break by the river.

To the End of the Valley: Sonogno

Follow the road further through the Verzasca Valley to Sonogno. Located at the end of the valley, the village invites you to take a leisurely stroll among its stone houses and narrow lanes. Afterwards, ride the Ryker back along the same route towards Locarno, enjoying a new perspective of the mountains, villages and river.
