Can I rent a roadster in Locarno instead of a rental car?
Yes. Instead of an ordinary rental car, at Roadster4rent you drive an open-top Vanderhall roadster with automatic transmission, picked up in Minusio near Locarno. Ideal for a trip to the Verzasca Valley, the Maggia Valley or Ascona, for 3, 5 or 9 hours.
Which driving licence do I need for the roadster?
A category B car licence is enough. You must be at least 21 years old and have held a licence recognised in Switzerland for at least 3 years.
How much does it cost to rent a roadster in Ticino?
The Morning Ride (3 hours) costs CHF 300 Monday to Friday and CHF 340 at weekends. The Valley Ride (5 hours) costs CHF 550 or CHF 600, the Day Ride (9 hours) CHF 780 or CHF 850. All prices include VAT.
What is included in the price?
A personal briefing, comprehensive insurance with a CHF 500 deductible, route recommendations and, depending on the rental period, 200 to 300 free kilometres. The deposit is CHF 500.
Where do I pick up the roadster?
At Roadster4rent, Via San Gottardo 164, 6648 Minusio, a few minutes from Locarno and Ascona. Pick-up and return daily from 9 AM to 10 PM.
How many people fit in?
Two people: one drives, one rides along. For groups we offer team events and guided tours.
