Roadster4rent is expanding its range: From 2027, new 3-wheelers will be available for rent in Ticino alongside our existing roadsters. The first addition will be the Can-Am Ryker. With this, we want to give even more guests the opportunity to experience the roads around Locarno, Ascona and Lake Maggiore in the open air.
Whether for a trip for two, a special holiday activity or a ride through the valleys of Ticino: with the Ryker, the journey itself becomes an experience.
What is a Can-Am Ryker?
The Can-Am Ryker is a motorized 3-wheeler with two wheels at the front and one wheel at the rear. Its open design lets you experience the surroundings up close: the warm air around Lake Maggiore, the curves of the valley roads, and the views of mountains, rivers and traditional villages.
The Ryker features an automatic transmission. There is no need to shift gears or operate a clutch, allowing you to focus entirely on the ride and the route after your introduction. A motorcycle licence is not required for the vehicles planned by Roadster4rent: you can ride the Ryker with a valid Category B driving licence for passenger cars.
The Ryker is ideal for a tour with two people: one person drives while the other enjoys Ticino from the passenger seat. The passenger should be prepared for the same open-air riding experience as the driver.
Helmets for Your Ride
When riding our Can-Am Ryker, both people are required to wear a helmet. If you do not bring your own suitable helmet, Roadster4rent will provide helmets free of charge if needed. Before departure, you will receive an introduction to the vehicle and instructions on how to operate it.

A ride into the Maggia Valley, known in Italian as Vallemaggia, is one of the most beautiful ways to discover Ticino on three wheels. From the Locarno area, the route follows the Maggia River.
